This group offers a site for TEAMS to exchange and discuss on scientific ideas related to biological and environmental monitoring. This group is basically open, while the group members are responsible for summarizing the discussion, choosing key issues and showing them to TEAMS.

Marine Ecosystem
Model
|
For sustainable fisheries in Tohoku region, the task group is developing marine ecosystem models based on biological and oceanographic monitoring data after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami.

Reconstruction
Support of Fisheries
in the Disaster Area
|
This group exchanges information on the activity of fishery reconstruction support in each organization, and summarizes them as the result of TEAMS.

Data Management
|
The task group for data management promotes methods for gathering accomplishments of TEAMS projects, evaluates development of TEAMS databases. The task group informs TEAMS members about the decision. If necessary, the task group shares information and works together with other task groups to expand TEAMS knowledge for reconstruction supports.

Task Group for
TEAMS Outreach
|
The task group for outreach aims to carry out overall advertisement of TEAMS activity. For this purpose, the group members compile outreach activities of each research organisation. In addition, the group prepares places for TEAMS overall activities. Common materials for advertisements will be produced and provided by the group.

Meeting
|
Promote the sharing of information during the research program and strengthen the cooperation among the participating institutes.
|
|
External Advisory Bodies
We will report the details and progress of research conducted in the TEAMS to external advisory
bodies, and seek their advice. In addition, we will seek advice, when necessary, from the relevant
local governments, research institutes, etc., to ensure the research reflects the needs of the
disaster-affected areas.
