Earth Simulator based projects by the "Innovative Program of Climate Change Projection for 21st Century"

The Program for Strategic Use of Advanced Large-scale Research Facilities, a MEXT initiative, is a program to promote the strategic use of Japan's major state-of-the-art research facilities by users in various fields that would benefit from the versatility of those facilities, allowing them to conduct high level research and thereby creating new technologies and industries. The Earth Simulator was selected to be included in the program and the Earth Simulator was used from FY 2005 to FY2006 under the program.
