Mooring configuration
The configuration of the PHSMO is shown in Fig.1. The specifications of buoy parts are given in Table 1. We adopted slack-line type mooring(the mooring line is longer than water depth) to reduce the tension along the mooring line (Fig.1). Thus, we can use smaller size parts such as surface float, shackles, chains, and anchor(Table 1), and make total system small, light with less construction and maintenance costs.
