Phase1 (Observation No. 40501: K-TRITON type)
Period: 2016/12/03 - 2018/08/27
On December 3, 2016, JAMSTEC deployed a sea surface mooring buoy at 12˚52.83'N, 136˚55.42'E by the R/V Mirai (MR16-08). The buoy and data were recovered on August 28, 2018 (MR18-04 Leg-2). The mooring design is almost same as the K-TRITON buoy based on m-TRITON mooring design.

Phase2 (Observation No. 40502: m-TRITON type)
Period: 2018/08/25 - 2020/02/26
On August 25, 2018, the Ph buoy was deployed at 13˚06.90'N, 136˚56.39'E by the R/V Mirai (MR18-04 Leg-2). The mooring design is the same as Phase 1. The buoy and data were recovered on February 26, 2020 (MR20-01 Leg-1). The data is published as Observation No. 40502.

Phase3 (Observaiton No. 40503: K-TRITON type)
Period: 2020/02/26 - 2021/06/30
On February 26, 2020, the Ph buoy was deployed at 12˚53.68'N, 136˚54.29'E by the R/V Mirai (MR20-01 Leg-1). The mooring design is the same as Phase 1. The buoy and data were recovered on June 30, 2021 (MR21-03). The data is published as Observation No. 40503.

Phase4 (Observation No. 40504: m-TRITON type)
Period: 2021/06/12 - 2023/07/07
On June 12, 2021, the Ph buoy was deployed at 13˚06.86'N, 136˚56.38'E by the R/V Mirai (MR21-03). The mooring design is the same as Phase 1. The buoy and data were recovered on February 26, 2020 (MR23-05 Leg-1). The data is published as Observation No. 40504.

Phase5 (Observation No. 40505: K-TRITON type)
Period: 2023/07/07 - 2025/10/23
On July 07, 2023, the Ph buoy was deployed at 12˚53.62'N, 136˚54.31'E by the R/V Mirai (MR23-05 Leg-1). The mooring design is the same as Phase 1. The buoy and data were recovered on October 23, 2025 (MR25-06). The data is published as Observation No. 40505.

Phase6 (Observation No. 40506: m-TRITON type)
Period: 2025/10/22 - Current
On October 22, 2025, the Ph buoy was deployed at 13˚06.79'N, 136˚56.18'E by the R/V Mirai (MR25-06). The mooring design is the same as Phase 1. The data is being collected at present and is published as Observation No. 40506.
