Two UNESCO evaluators and several related personnel visited our facility for revalidation of the Muroto UNESCO Global Geopark. After a brief overview of the Kochi Core Center and its relationship with the Muroto Global Geopark Center , the visitors had a tour of the core repository with an explanation of core samples collected from off Muroto, the Nankai Trough.
