It is with regret to announce that Prof. Judith A. McKenzie, Professor Emeritus of Earth System Sciences at ETH Zurich, passed away last week, 11th August 2023.
Prof. McKenzie was an advisor at the Kochi Institute for Core Sample Research from 2009 to 2013, and was greatly appreciated for her contributions to the development of our institute in the early years of its operations.
We would like to express our sincere condolences on her passing and to express our deepest respect for her outstanding achievements during her career.
