Earth Simulator based researches by Core Research for Evolutional Science and Technology (CREST)
The Japan Science and Technology Agency, an independent administrative agency, promotes Exploratory Research for Advanced Technology. As part of the effort to foster innovation leading to social and economic reform, this initiative aims to facilitate fundamental research in strategically focused subject areas and create innovative new technology that will lead to future scientific advances and new industries. Under this initiative, the Earth Simulator is used for CREST (team research) research.
