Ocean Data Synthesis Research Group
The Ocean Data Synthesis Research Group is mainly in charge of data synthesis and conducting observing system evaluation and observing system simulation experiments that use data assimilation approaches. Dynamically self-consistent data assimilation will help clarify various oceanic phenomena and global ocean change mechanisms.
Estimation of the ocean state will improve our ability to understand of global ocean changes and to develop an optimized observing system.
