Indian Ocean Panel Meeting in Goa, India.

Sorry for posting an article that is not describing pre-YMC, but related to the general YMC activity.

Another meeting related to YMC has been held in Goa, India, 7-8 December. It is CLIVAR/IOC-GOOS Indian Ocean Panel (IOP) 12th session. IOP is responsible for international coordination of IndOOS (Indian Ocean Observing System) and many international climate activities related to the Indian Ocean. In particular, this time discussion on the International Indian Ocean Expedition - 2 (IIOE-2) is one of the hot topics. Since YMC also contribute to the IIOE-2 and the synergy of two projects is highly expected, we have decided to attend. We've confirmed the interaction between two projects are truly beneficial each others. This time IOP meeting has been coordinated as an integrated one with SIBER and IO-GOOS meetings. In total about 50 scientists are attending.
