23 Nov. 2011: Mirai

Nov.23Sunny

All of the instruments and observations are working well.

TPW is still around 30mm, but some cumulus could be found finally. Easterly component above 500hPa become weak, or turn to rather westerly. Meridional component is southerly below 250hPa, while northerly above. The wind and humidity situation resembles to these on Oct.21-22, just before the active phase of previous MJO.

The oceanic profile is similar to that in yeasterday, but the T/S gradient around 40m depth become slightly loose, or unclear. On the other hand, 28.2 deg-C (or 28.0 deg-C) depth is gradually deepened for recent two days.
