International Weather and Climate Modeling(IWCM) Workshop 2026

1. Scope

This workshop aims to discuss current challenges and future opportunities in weather and climate modeling, particularly new computational methods (e.g., data assimilation, ensemble generation), parameterizations (e.g., cloud physics, ocean mixing), AI/ML, and porting code to GPU machines, as model coding for future computers is a critical issue for all weather and climate modelers. The outcome of this workshop paves the way for future innovative technologies on weather and climate modeling for Earth science.
