Environmental Variability Prediction and Application Research Group (EVPARG)

We are investigating predictability of ocean current variations including the Kuroshio and Oyashio around Japan and in other seas over the world using ocean current predict systems. Also, we are developing atmospheric modeling including the cloud models to understand the air convection processes that have significant difficulty in predicting them. Recent our interests include lower-trophic marine ecosystem and fish behavior modeling.
