The 2022 Arctic Circle Assembly

The 2022 Arctic Circle Assembly was held in Reykjavik, Iceland on 13-16 October 2022.
The Arctic Circle is an organization that was founded in 2013 at the proposal of the former Iceland President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson to address various issues facing the Arctic.
Over 2,000 participants attended this 10th assembly. Mr. Keizo Takewaka, Japanese ambassador of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gave a speech at the opening session on October 13th, about Japan's Arctic policy and Japan's Arctic research efforts, while projecting our introduction video of the Arctic Research Vessel in his background.
