Entry Criteria
Please submit a suitable name for Japan's first JAMSTEC research vessel with icebreaking capabilities.

Screening Process
Based on the name proposals received from the public, JAMSTEC will consult with experts inside/outside of JAMSTEC to determine the most suitable name for the Arctic research vessel.
（Therefore, the name with the highest number of entries may not be chosen.）

We will announce the winning name on our website within FY2023.
