"Dawn launching of three GPS radiosondes and ECC+CFH+Vaisala sonde"

In the early morning (6:05 AM LST) the full-set sondes were launched in the beautiful sky among the bird songs. The balloon reached 32 km altitude above the ground.

"From space"

I am watching Bengkulu from space because I cannot wait my visit to the city next week!!
Today, a line shape convective system is approaching from the west and it will pass Bengkulu about 16LT. On the other hand, the diurnal cycle convective system is developing on the island. How will they interact? Stay tuned.

"Loudness in the ocean is controlled by blowing winds"

The 3-hourly TurboMAP observation at the fixed station gets started from 5 Dec.
The ocean surface layer of 0-300 m depth seems to be busy due to the strong westerly winds that continues to blow in the last week.
The blowing winds give turbulent motion in the ocean and the ocean surface gives the heat and moisture back.
Such enjoyable conversations between the blowing winds and ocean are worth listening to because they should make a dramatic story.
The operation needs sometimes to be trouble shooting but the observation should be entirely exciting.
