A person who works at JAMSTEC Yokosuka Headquarters (Yokosuka-city) and a person who works at JAMSTEC Yokohama Institute for Earth Sciences (Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama-city) have been confirmed as positive for the COVID-19 by the diagnoses of medical institutions.
JAMSTEC and its Emergency Response Headquarters Office headed by the President will continue to take necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 following the instructions of the local public health center.
