A person who works at JAMSTEC Yokosuka Headquarters (Yokosuka-city) and two persons who work at Kochi Institute for Core Sample Research (Nankoku-city, Kochi prefecture) have been tested positive for the COVID-19 PCR test.
JAMSTEC and its Emergency Response Headquarters Office headed by the President will continue to take necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 following the instructions of the local public health center.
