Dr. Fumio Inagaki receives Geochemistry Fellow from the Geochemical Society and the European Association of Geochemistry

Dr. Fumio Inagaki, Director of Mantle Drilling Promotion Office, MarE3, JAMSTEC, was awarded Geochemistry Fellow from the Geochemical Society and the European Association of Geochemistry at the Goldschmidt Conference held on July 7, 2021. He is recognized for “his contributions to our understanding of the geobiology and geochemistry of the deep microbial biosphere and for his leadership and service, which have fostered rich, interdisciplinary collaborations and promoted substantial growth of the international deep-biosphere community”. The award ceremony will be held at the Goldschmidt conference on-site in Honolulu, July 2022.
