R/V MIRAI

"preparation"

Fine and calm sea
No rain around the ship (photo-1)

Observations:

All observations work well.

Remarks:

At the MIRAI, we can routinely receive several analyzed figures and satellite data of the current Indian Ocean. These figures are uploaded on the internal web pages, so that all researchers can know what is happening on there. We must prepare for the coming intensive observation in terms of not only instrument condition but also ourselves.
One shot of ship life (photo-2). In the MIRAI, we have a haircut room, and some guys cut each other. We do blieve that they are ready for intensive observation.
