R/V MIRAI

"Leg-1 observation completed"

Weak southerly wind was observed in the morning, while northerly wind (5 m/sec) prevailed in the afternoon.

Observations:

Last radiosonde observation was conducted at 0430 LST.
Doppler radar operation is stopped at 1500 LST.
Most of observation was stopped.

Remarks:

Tomorrow, MISMO leg-1 cruise will finish.
What is what we caught? We must answer this question by future analysis. We'd like to exress our sincere thanks to the Captain and his crew, and marine technician of MWJ and GODI.

Photo 1 shows today's morning cloud. We took a commemorative picture with all passengers and ship crew (photo-2). And, at the end of the cruise, we celebrated the success of the cruise with BBQ party (photos 3, 4).
Tomorrow, we will arrive at Maldives.
