"after the rain"

Rain, cloudy later. At night, it became fine.
Wind change its direction from easterly to south-west-southerly.

Observations:

All measurement were operated.
Videosonde wals launched at 0523 LST.
From last night to the eartly morning, large cloud systems moved westward over the MIRAI. Satellite-based cloud images showed two cloud masses. One is located in the range from 75E to 80E along the equator, while the other is located in 75E-85E, 5S-Equator.

Remarks:

As noted above, we traced the westward-moving cloud systems from last night. Although we tried to launch the videosonde into the systems, it was already weaken. In the morning, it was mainly covered with cumulus, congestus cloud, and stratocumulus (photo-1).

Here are the shots of ship's life.
At the buoy maintenance room, technical staff use it not only for the preparation of buoy but also for spending their free time (photo-2). Anybody can visit there to talk with someone. In addition, Doppler radar room is also used for the communication place during this cruise. When tried to take a picture, we dn't know why, but technical staff started to write a memo on a field note (photo-3) ...
